1: Porthleven Food Festival (22nd – 23rd April)

Every year foodies and famous chefs descend on this beautiful seaside village but the crowds don’t just come for the food, this beautiful little port is a stunning location and you can except to find live music, craft stalls and all sorts of family fun.

Bluebell Festival at Eny Gardens (29th – 6th May)

Enys is considered the oldest formal garden in Cornwall, an April/May the park land comes alive with bluebells. Perfect for picnic and days out with the family.

Trevithick Day, Camborne (29th April)

Honouring one of Cornwall’s most famous sons, Richard Trevithick, Camborne comes to life for the day with all kinds of vintage steam vehicles, parades, dancing and male voice choirs.

Cornwall Spring Flower Show, Boconnoc (1st – 2nd April)

Celebrate the arrival of the spring, and soak up all the the best of Cornish horticulture. With over 100 trade stalls and a chance to talk to real green-fingered experts.

National Surfing Championships, Watergate Bay (29th – 1st May)

This spring the UK’s top surfers will be competing against the waves and each other in Cornwall for the National Surf Championships, the event is free to attend and classes range from veterans to under 12s – so bring on the action!

 

St Endellion 44th Easter Music Festival (8th – 16th April)

Bringing together musicians from all over the world, the St Endellion Music Festivals take place at Easter every year in the Collegiate Church of St Endelienta. Combining chamber, orchestral and choral concerts this is always a popular event so you might need to book.

Bolster Festival, St Agnes (30th April)

This fun event features a 28ft tall puppet of the Cornish giant Bolster, celebrating Cornish music and arts this festival includes a lantern procession, bonfire and barbeque all in the beautiful seaside town of St Agnes.

Eggstreme Easter Weekend, Newquay Zoo (14th – 17th April)

Collect the clues and hunt for colourful Easter eggs, follow the trail while surrounded by all the birds and beasts of the zoo. There’ll also be face-painting and all the usual family fun!

Spring Craft Fair (22nd – 23rd April)

On this crafty weekend the Bedruthan Hotel & Spa will be hosting a wonderful range of art, textiles, wood, glass, ceramics, fashion, home wares, decorative stalls over three floors. This show draws artists from all over the south-west and in a location with the stunning ocean views.

 

Bird Bonanza & Rockpool explorer, St Michael’s Mount¬†(2nd – 16th April)

Why not become an expert bird spotter, plant a sunflower, make your own willow bird feeder or explore the weird and wonderful world of the rockpools just off the causeway – you can do all this and more with entrance to the castle this april.
